Founded in 1996, Nyenburgh is nowadays active as a licensed investment firm in proprietary trading. Presently, more than 20 professional traders work for the company. Nyenburgh holds memberships in most pan-European exchanges and has an excellent global network of prime brokerage partners.

Nyenburgh’s trading strategies vary from day trading, arbitrage trading, market-making and trading in exchange-traded derivative instruments. In addition, the firm invests under the commercial name Nyenburgh Investment Partners (NYIP) for the medium and long-term in exchange-traded life sciences equities.

Nyenburgh operates low-latency trading infrastructure with co-lo hubs in (among others) New York, Frankfurt, Milan Bergamo and London. The company is a member of the APT (Association of Proprietary Traders) and a participant in DSI (Dutch Securities Institute). Board-of-Directors

Board of Directors

Bert Muller (1957) studied business economics and is a certified financial analyst. He started his career in the financial sector in 1985 as an Institutional Sales Expert at former NMB nowadays ING Bank. In 1993 he joined Nyenburgh and was appointed to the board of directors in 1999.

Rob Kamsteeg (1976) holds an M.Sc. in Economics and started his career in 1999 at Nyenburgh. After being Head of Proprietary Trading, he was appointed as Managing Director and joined the board of directors of Nyenburgh Holding in 2012.

Peter Krikke (1971) joined Nyenburgh in 2018 and was appointed as a member of the Management Board in March 2019. Before joining Nyenburgh, Peter gained over 19 years of management experience as CEO in the prop trading industry. In 1997, Peter started his career at European Option Academy and Edutraders during his study of law at Vrije Universiteit and the University of Amsterdam.
